Established in 1913, the College of Continuing and Professional Studies is one of the most diverse of the University of Minnesota’s 19 colleges and schools. In 2013, the College celebrated its Centennial, and its commitment to opening doors for over 100 years.
The College’s primary audience is adult learners; our mission is to provide high-quality continuing education and lifelong learning opportunities for professional development, personal enrichment, career transitions, and academic growth.
Each year, the College serves more than 50,000 learners working toward individualized or applied degrees certificates; accessing the University’s credit courses; or participating in short courses, workshops, and events. Tens of thousands of additional learners benefit from the professional learning environment provided by our Continuing Education and Conference Center.
We are also home to Radio K, the award-winning student-run radio station of the University of Minnesota.
